Opel Vectra B 2.0 DTI: a snapped glow plug that cost more than the car
An Opel Vectra B 2.0 DTI from the Edition 100 series, launched for Opel’s centenary of car making – so special that on the street you can’t tell it apart from a regular Vectra B. It was bought for 1400 zł by someone just getting into older cars. The car turned out to be in worse shape than expected, and a snapped glow plug settled it.

Mini Cooper R50 (2002): metal filings in the gearbox and a fuel filter you can no longer buy
A customer bought an early-2002 Mini Cooper R50 and brought it straight to us for a service, expecting the gearbox oil to be long overdue – rightly so. Along the way it turned out that the fuel filter for this version can no longer be bought.
